The Little Apple brand has made ripples through education and entertainment spaces, not only as a narrative tv show, but as a fresh perspective on racial and social justice issues from the eyes of youth.

As a next step in the evolution of Little Apple, the Little Apple Universe has been developed to present the content in an accessible digital experience that all schools and youth can use to lean into their agency and imagination.

THE LITTLE APPLE UNIVERSE (LAU) is a limited digital streaming experience, specific to the Little Apple™ brand, providing online access to television programming, animations, and resources. The experience serves to connect youth professionals and empower youth to use their imagination while adding context to racial and social justice topics. Operating as a multi-disciplinary experience, LAU is an approved NYC Department of Education FAMIS Vendor with access to more than 1,500 NYC schools. 

Little Apple has screened and/or presented at The Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, The Apollo, Comic-Con, Culture-Con and numerous schools and youth organizations. The series is also the 2019 winner of the American Black Film Festival Jury Award for Best Web Original.
