Riley S. Wilson

Executive producer, Writer, Director

 

Riley S. Wilson is a writer, director, founder and self-taught VFX editor. A graduate of the Howard University School of Business, Wilson started out as a writer for brands and publications like Advertising Age and Procter & Gamble. Wilson published his first book ‘my ID’ in 2011 and released the film adaptation "Orange Bright" four years later.

Wilson began official work on the sci-fi/drama series and comic book “Little Apple”  in 2015. A year later, the project is in finals for Sundance's Episodic Lab. Wilson went on to produce the project, which won the Best Web Series award at the 2019 American Black Film Festival. 

Wilson is founder of Little Apple Universe (LAU), a boutique experiential company that bundles media, comic book products, and curriculum for schools. His most recent film “Blue Monday”, inspired by Annie Lee’s ‘Blue Monday’ painting, follows a woman being monitored by A.I. as she grieves and rejoins the workforce.
