Parenting while Black brings its own blessings and trials. Add Little Apple’s knack for accuracy and you have Charlene balancing being a disciplinarian while still protecting Apple’s fierce yet gentle development.


Episode 4: What’s for dinner? Irony.

After a very trying day, Little Apple must now explain her actions to her father Matthew. She’ll explain, But there’s irony in her correction.


Episode 5: Aura Shifts.

Little Apple has had a trying first week of school, the last thing she wants to worry about is the safety of her parents. But when her father Matthew suggests entering potentially dangerous spaces, Apple’s aura reacts.


Episode 6: It’s a brand new day.

All Apple and her friends, Sara and Chris want to do is play basketball. And even that proves to be a difficulty. But no matter, she’s full of ideas.
