Kemar Green Jr. was born and raised in the Bronx, New York. Kemar is currently a Junior Division scholarship recipient at The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. He dreams of pursing a career as an entertainer and traveling around the world to help the bring awareness to those who have neurological disorders granted he was diagnosed with mild Tourette’s Syndrome. He wants them to believe that their dreams can be bigger than their environment by being an example.

About the show, Kamar's mother says Little Apple is a project that is definitely needed in times we live in today. "In a world filled with famine, racism and division, we actually can be comfortable as parents allowing our children to watch content that is educational, has substance and teaches our children about who they are as minorities," she says. "As my child plays the role of Chris, he definitively is able to relate to that role as he has been bullied for being a black Ballet/Contemporary dancer in school, church and overcoming that obstacle that many have taken their lives for."
